what would your reaction have been?

I would have thought it would be a very ugly game for the Cats.  A 45-42 win was never in my mind as a possibility before that game.  What a ballgame.

I would have said that we'd lose 42-7.  Maybe 10, if we were lucky.

I thought all week that this team could have a chance if things went their way....and said it all day yesterday.  The CU game really impressed me, to say the least.   Figured it might be a shootout if Freeman and Co. could be efficient...but had no idea on the score.

I'm pleased that KSU won...not real overly shocked or surprised,  but I certainly didn't "expect" to win.  Nubb should have beaten them, and Tech had them on the ropes...

Very proud of the young men that represented all of us last night...it was awesome.

    The very best.
I'm stunned and shocked we won.

However, I did get the sense in Boulder last week that something special was brewing on offense. then i read phog.net and huskers.com and was convinced that CU was nothing more than manhattan high.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

    Overkill. It works.
Maybe I've been drinking too much of the purple kool-aid--but I thought we'd have a chance IF the ball bounced our way a few times, which it did.  However, there were a few times I thought the zebras were trying to give it to TX

    This ZERO is my Hero
All week, I heard that we would have to play a "perfect" game, so if you were to tell me we'd give up 42 points, have a botched fake punt inside the redzone, a blocked punt inside the redzone, and a interception on our side of the field.  Then I would have thought the worst.

but tonight...the future looks bright

yes considering we gifted 3 td's to texas you'd have to say this was as legit an upset as there can be.  even with mccoy out, the tex def gave up 45 freaking points.  were they expecting to score 50+ to beat us???  would have scored that w/o us handing them 21 points?
