Yeah.  In a very disappointing tournament year the Big 12 had an Elite 8 team (again).  The MVC had one of their best years ever in the modern era with a pair of Sweet 16 teams, and neither really came close to winning their games for an Elite 8 appearance, though WSU got the benefit of playing a fellow mid.  The Valley is awesome.
