do you think we have a shot if he backs out of georgia?  it's unlikely he'll back out, and it seems like he grew up a ku fan.  his brother was an assistant during orientation, and i'm pretty sure his mom works with the alumni center as we had to listen to a speech from her (i think her last name was ballard).

    The very best.
We have no shot at all. Hatter gets way to optimistic w/recruiting.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

pre-emptive shhh!

I don't recall saying that we would get him.  In fact I recall saying "longshot".  I guess "longshot" now = "we will land Ballard".

Nope, I just was making a list of what I would like to see and nothing more.  I did say that if Prince finishes season strong and Iowa keeps struggling then it wouldn't be out of this world.

I know people like to rip on the kid but I wouldn't think Iowa would want him if he were just some terrible prospect.  Fact remains he's 275 and a freak of nature as an athlete.

why did i think he was commited to georgia?

now i see why he may be a longshot.  if he was at uga, nobody around here would have a shot

He is an amazing athlete.  Definite NFL player at an OT position if he can block.  He is huge, runs sprints on the track team, and can throw down like crazy in Bball.  You can't teach 6'7 280 with 4.7 speed.
