Current staff.  You may be thinking of Bill Young.

I meant old staff as in the staff that was just fired with Mangino. Or will be fired within a matter of weeks...unless Miller is hired then who knows.

and makes since with that LB going to visit them. Makes you think that he may have been given the job and is already recruiting.

Sounds like they got their White Prince.

Interesting . . . so the guy who lead the ku defense to failure, and who helped lead Louisville's defense to failure . . . is going to be ku's new head coach??

Yes, yes . . . that would be interesting.

It would create incredible continuity with current recruiting ties.  There really wouldn't be a "rebuild" period at all.  It would be strictly a "reload."

    shame on you, non-believers
Great strategy to convince parents that the old abusive nature of ku's staff is a thing of the past.

Nothing says "we've changed!" like hiring a guy who was on said abusive staff.

Miller will likely be retained in some capacity in order to keep Geneo Grissom and Dave Clark.

The guy has been at some good places but it usually ends with him getting fired.  He was on Ron Zooks staff at Florida.  Got canned by Dennis Erickson at Arizona State.   Was at Miami during their fall from grace in the late 90's.  But I can see why ku wants to keep him he's doing a great job their LB play was outstanding this year.

Dave Clark is a 4-star recruit, and he fills a major need for ku at cb.

Why would you hire a guy as head coach b/c of two recruits that might play 2 of 11 positions on defense?  Dumbest thing I've ever heard.

What does Bill Miller's resume look like?  Is he the old assistance from lowely MSU?  The spartans (aka  :ku:  :pirate:)
