Frank had it right last night. Ole Miss was very athletic and disciplined. KSU very athletic and not disciplined. Athletisism dosen't trump discipline. Good thing for the Newbys to learn that early. Ole miss really a very good team. KSU was schooled  last night. Hope that was a teachable moment. IMHO

I'm not sure you can "coach" maturity. Maturity comes with age and experience imho. A coach can guide it at best. I'm sure Frank used it as a teachable moment.

Frank's been telling them they aren't a very good team. I don't know it got through. It will now, and I hope they bring some desperation to their preparations because they'll only get so many non-con chances.

You can coach em' till you are blue in the face but until they get their asses handed to them on the court they are less likely to take it to heart.  Ole Miss is a good team, but we have the guys to play with and beat teams like that.  They will figure it out eventually. 

Last season we talked about how we didn't lose anyone except DK.  We ended up losing DK, FB, BA and RA.  Even though those guys aren't all world talent they have all been there before and are seasoned to the college game.

I hope we sent Colon back to the states over the weekend cause i was getting sick of seeing him sitting on the bench pouting and being unsupportive. In a road tournament I would really appreciate it if we can leave all the negetive back home.So GTFOOMF Colon we got 3rd place to win!

Weren't we supposed to avoid this type of start to the season because of our our returners?  It's not just our newbs who look undisciplined.

I completely agree. This team just needs time to "gel"
