it's kind of weird, but this has been one of the most enjoyable weeks of ksu basketball i can recall.  i still enjoy watching the cats play well, but ever since the baylor game it really doesn't bother me when they lose.  kind of nice actually.

i wonder if this is how normal people experience sports?
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

    Since 1996
Pink Floyd wrote a song about this phenomenon.  Comfortably dumb, or something like that.

thank you.

It's exactly the same way I've been feeling. These games have been win/win. And I love seeing our "Catz" play well.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

    shame on you, non-believers
Now that you guys mention it, I have been way more relaxed during K-State games lately than I normally am.

I prefer the old way, however; the way that had me wanting to kill someone whenever K-State lost in anything. That was more fun.

comfortably numb

i think part of it is finnally knowing for sure that we will get a change at the top and that this season doesnt matter anymore.  another part is being happy it didn't go down like the mizzou thing and this team didn't quit.
