Winter Oreos are just regular Oreos with red frosting and a snowflake pattern on the cookie. So, naturally, I'd highly recommend them.

perry- i got the winter oreos but my wal-mart (store #1599) doesn't have the christmas cakes in yet.  my guess? might be a market by market thing at this point.  also checked at westport sunfresh market today, no luck.  fortunately i DID pick up some winter oreos yesterday.

got an e-mail about a recruiting report saying rumblings are that we are in good position with Fredward.... Hopefully more news from my source tomorrow.

We definitely don't have those Oreos at my store yet. Sorry to hear about the Christmas cakes, didn't mean to set you up for a let down.

The ones we got in are just red frosting oreos. We didn't get the peppermint ones. Never seen those before

perry, no problem.  the ones i got are not the ones in my picture, that was the only picture i could find.  i will take a pic and post it in this thread tonight.  they have red/white creem in the middle and taste like candy canes.  they were found in the cookie section, right next to the regular oreos and right across the aisle from the little debbie section which is where the little debbie christmas tree cakes should be found but aren't for some reason.  man if they don't sell them this year i'm going to go off on someone.
