Doesn't the Governor hand over the trophy? Every picture I have ever seen has shown the gov presenting it to the winning team, can't ever recall seeing the lt gov doing the honor myself.

They're a bunch of overcompensating wimps....it goes back to their founding.  Jealous that the rightful University for the people of the State of Kansas would be located in Manhattan, the spoiled brats threw a political temper tantrum and just had to have a state university in Lawrence....still exhibiting their petty insecurity to this day.

OK I did not know the gov was out of the country. So who presented the trophy? It's not really a big deal to me because winning the game was all that mattered bit if true Findley is a true piece of crap, geeze sounds like he needs to grow a pair.
