good call here nicname. from now on i want my nickname around hear to be "the daris". steve dave's nicname is going to be "the dave" and as soon as i can find out what pete's last name is we'll have a nicname for him too.

Humorous yet fallible.  Your examples of "the daris" and "the dave" would be stupid as being a "Daris" or a "Dave" is worth nothing(aside from railing that chick from Chasing Amy on a pool table).  Being a "Judge" has all sorts of powerful implications.  Being "THE Judge" implies that he is the Judge of Judges on the bball court.  This could also imply that he is near Godlike status on the bball court as God is known as the ultimate judge.
