OK here's the deal:

A friend of mine (from high school) got really drunk this weekend after the game and accidentally made out with a dude at the KatHouse lounge.  He's only made out, nothing more (well there might have been a bit of "touching", but he doesn't remember the end of the night all that great).  He's pretty worried that he might be bi or even gay now because he got a little "excited" about it. He's pretty confused about the whole deal, I mean he knows knows he's not gay because has a girl friend and all (she doesn't know about this of course).  So he's been texting me all day.  I said I would ask you guys for some advice (he reads the boards, but never posts).  Please direct your advice to him.  I will post his responses to any questions or comments you might have.  You all can address him as "Charlie". 

And NO this is NOT about me.

of course this would only happen when uk was in town.. 

did he know it was a dude? if so was it part of a bet? either way the dude is ghey but if there was no mistake or nothing on the line he is not bi but 100%

difficult situ. your friend cheated on his girlfriend. why is he talking to you about it? did other people see? was it at the bar or later? are you friends w/ his girlfriend? whole thing seems weird. doubtful that it's the first time he's done something like this though. sounds like he's playing you chings. need more info.

He knew it was a dude.  No bet.  Just something that happened after a few too many beers.

There is really no way to put a positive spin on that.  My advice, congratulate him and give him a life size poster Reesing.

Why wouldn't he talk to me about it?  Isn't that what friends do?  Weird question to ask.
It was at the bar, on the couches.  Yeah I know his GF, and this is definately the first time something like this has happened.  I know he's not pulling my leg, I was there (in the bar) but I was pulling some digits from some super hot girls at the bar.  He was pretty shook about it right afterward.

Oh and guys, cut it with the ku stuff, it's not helping.

It's okay.  We already knew you were gay.  Don't try to hide in the darkness anymore.  

But really.  I've been ridiculous drunk on infinite occasions.  That has never happened to me.  I'd probably knife any dude who tried making out with me on the spot.  The guy is probably gay.  JMO.

Ha ha!  You know me, I love me the ladies!!  Can never grab too much tail! A new one every week!

Charlie, seems like a straight up guy, a lot like me.  Not the cheating type, well I guess he is, but I don't know if he thinks of it that way.  Do the rest of you guys think of it that way? Charlie does feel guilty about it though.

That's simply not a hetero thing to do, even when piss drunk.  Yes, he's probably gay, or bi.  Believe it or not, that's not a big deal a lot of places.  Unfortunately, in Manhattan, Kansas, it kind of can be (depending on the crowd).

You seem like you're cool with it, so that makes you a very good dude.  Probably the very best thing you can do is keep it under wraps for him (in the real world) -- let him share the story if he wants to, but it's not your place to do it, even in a joking way.  Advice for him?  I don't know.  Haven't gone down that road myself.

After college, you'll ALL probably find that a few guys you knew will come out as gay.  A few of my buddies now are gay.  Fun dudes, and they know all the right people.

Not all true according to a dude on MTV's True Life. He did gay porn for a job but swears he was totally straight. He just did it for the money. I barely could watch the episode. The fact that charlie got "excited" throws up some red flags for me. Most likely bi IMO.
