Not that I'm aware of.  Used it. Works OK, but not great.  Anbesol and waiting is about the best thing.

Alum, buy some at the grocery store, take a clump put it on canker sore and it dries it up, do this before you go to sleep and you don't have to taste it but it still works.

duck (duct?) tape supposedly works if you keep them covered with it for a long time.    Guy I worked with in Manhattan had duck tape on a finger for about a week and said it went away.

I lick my finger, dip it in a ton of salt, and press it against the sore.  Stings like a bitch but works.

Is it canker sores that are on your tongue or are those something else?  Those are terrible imo.

Listerein mouth wash.  Stings a bit but helps them heal faster.

whatever you do medicine wise make sure to bruth your teeth every couple of hours. the acid levels build up in your mouth if you don't and it's a good part of why canker sores hurt as much as they do.

go to the doctor, they can fry them on the spot with a can of liquid nitrogen.  It stings for a little bit but it will go away and take the wart with it.  I didn't think my thumb would ever look the same but it looks fine with minimal scarring.

Canker sores aren't from biting, and they aren't on your cheeks.

first part is not really true. canker sores are often preceded by some kind of irritant to the area. biting would be one of them.

Never had a wart but have had canker sores and I'm ripped so it's not from being fat.

Fnck salt water. i just put straight up salt on my canker sores. it stings like hell, but only 4 like 2o seconds. and it works!

This Kanka stuff works pretty damn well.  It soothes the pain and makes some sort of coating that sticks to it, making it go away faster.

yeah. that stuff works pretty good. seriously though...brush you teeth every hour or two preferrably w/ a toothpaste that isn't a "whitening" one.

Just got over a terrible one inside my upper lip. Took a week before it quit stinging.

Beer is pretty good on them too! After about 15 of them you forget you even have a canker.
