Update:

Did go with Sonic. Went with the #1 burger meal, no mayo. Did not tip. Used the credit card thingy. When the carhop came out, made no eye contact.

Also, had the best franking cherry Dr. Pepper ever.

i won't go to sonic unless they have a drive thru. too awkward. tip or no tip? just give them my change? what if my total comes to $5.93? do i really just give them seven cents? way too nervewracking. refuse to do it.

I have only tipped once at Sonic because the chick was hot and thought it might help in scoring with her.  It did but now I have this rash in the lower extrimities, now I think it was a bad idea.  So the moral of the story, never tip at Sonic it will give you a rash.
