Did the Southerners get too annoying?  Or was there a good enough mix of people that you didn't really notice anyone group that was particularly annoying?  Annoying Southerners might be sufficient reason for me not to go to any future Bonnaroos.

oh.  yeah good point.

So I just spent easter afternoon with a founding father of Bonnaroo.  He's dating my wife's cousin.

Missed this question.  Probably the annoying group was the "metallica" fans.  There were some kind of annoying frat guys and pretty annoying hippies, but really a pretty decent mix, overall.  "southerners" wouldn't really fit in there.  didn't see any.

They were f*cking great.  But I drank WAAAAAAAYYYY too much on that Friday and left after their first set (which started at Midnight).  Heard the second set from the tent, and it was better.  <-learned my lesson about partying at music festivals

i saw cat power in a hotel lobby passed out in a chair wearing only a bra and underwear. this is a true story...my friends band was touring and was staying at the same place as her...i went along. anyhow...she was so drunk that she just was sprawled out for all of us to see her stuff. i saw why they call her cat power now.

I believe this.  She's a massive alkie and also not very good live IMO.  Still, would've liked to have seen this show in the lobby.

:dunno:  I read her shows usually aren't very good.  I saw her opening for Interpol in 2007 and wasn't too impressed with either.

She was on the Austin City Limits TV show so she has to be good.
