**I'm not asking when it will be released**  :blahblah:

How early does a team start scheduling for the following season?  I know some games are already done deals based on prior agreements, but when do the bulk of the games get decided?  Does the staff already have a pretty good idea of who the team will play, and are just waiting on dates?  Is the majority of our non-con still undecided?  Just wondering how much control Frank has at this point in beefing up the non-con for next season (not that we should be a bubble team).  What kind of scheduled would you like to see?  2 or 3 top25ih teams and then some pud games?  6-7 top 100ish teams?

On a side note, who would you like to see scheduled?  WV?  Sister school dookies?  What are the odds of getting a 1-1 with a school like Duke?

We know we will play a Pac 10 team as part of the challenge, but don't remember who.

We will also play Xavier in Manhattan.

Not sure after that.

An A-10 home game, Pac-10 game (could be home)  And possibly two power conference school games in Puerto Rico (more a home game for us than anyone else imo)  Decent schedule depending on who is in the tournament.

I still want my cooler, bitches!

WSU is the Pac10 challenge game, at home, and have heard that 'nova and gtech (favors) are in the PR tourney. Will jay wright look as snappy in island gear?  :dunno:

guarantee games are usually scheduled in the spring/summer/early fall.  don't know on home and homes or games designed for tv, but i would guess it is the same.

so the games/opponents are largely undecided.  but if you are looking for a major upgrade in opponent quality, you're going to be disappointed.  this whole rpi/sos thing isn't a secret, everyone knows about it.  higher quality teams know they're in demand and accordingly charge much higher prices to accept guarantee games.

ksu isn't going to hand martin a bunch of extra cash to improve the sos, so you're going to see a lineup of more or less the same.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

We should try to become one of the higher quality teams. Then we could charge high prices and stuff.

If the field is anything like this year's, we should pick-up several good match-ups in that tourney.  Of course, we do have to win those games for it to really matter...
