In the hunt:









Tennessee Martin seems to be in the drivers seat.  After starting 2-5 and then 1-3 in the league, the Skyhawks have won 17 of their last 19.  They did fall in a classic bracketbusters battle to always tough Mizz St, but they look to be in the driver's seat for the #1 seed in the OVC Tournament.

Murray State is an annual OVC contender, and once again have ripped off 7 of their last 8 in the league to get back in the hunt.  They are probably looking at best at the #2 seed in the OVC Tournament b/c of some early league losses.

Eastern Kentucky has put themselves in the race with 9 wins in their last 11, including stepping out to beat a touch Chicago State team and MAC power Ohio.  Their 4-5 start to league play could leave them looking at the #3 seed at best though.



Austin Peay once sat at 8-1 in the league while looking pretty, but late Jan and Feb have not been kind.  A 3-3 league mark and bracket buster loss to Drake have them on the skids heading into the home stretch.

Morehead State isn't a complete fade, but a bracket buster loss to Kent State, plus losing 2 of the past 5 in the league have Morehead on a slide.  Plus they must travel to "hot" Tenn Martin and Murry State to end the year.
