Vic's kid in the Under Armor game

Be sure to look for Sam Montgomery (#26 on the White Team) tonight on ESPN. He is a participant in the Under Armor High School All-American game. Many say the signing of Vic to our staff may be all we need to land Monty.

Sam Montgomery, Greenwood (S.C.)
6-4, 220 pounds
Junior accolades: Had 65 tackles (19 for loss) and 20 sacks. Named All-Region, All-Lakeland and All-State. Also All-Lakeland and All-Region basketball player.
On his goals for his senior season: "Win a state championship and to help as many guys on my team as I can to get D-I scholarships."

Favorite movie: "Sonic the Hedgehog."

Scouts Inc. says: Despite playing only one year of football, he looks to be a natural. He has wonderful athleticism but also does the little things. His get-off and long arms could make him a menace off the edge. Has a ton of potential.

You must not be watching the game.  They just ran his name across the bottom line and we weren't listed as one of his top teams.  Don't get me wrong would love to get him, but it doesn't look like it will happen.
