As long as Tim Weiser insists on having 97% of the regular season ticket seats in the stadium (non student/faculty seats) priced at some of the highest levels in the Big 12, with approx. 50-60% of that 97% availabe to the general public requiring an extra donation. Plus charging the same price for individual game tickets whether you sit in the endzone, or up on the far corners of the upper deck.
Then KSU is never going to move past that 45-46K core (give or take a few thousand depending on the game). So, if you take into account they'll try to jam 52-53,000 in there for a game like Nebraska, that leaves about 6-7-8,000 seats available for the Cornholes if the fringe fans don't think KSU is going to have a good season. They're not willing to plunk down $70 bucks a pop to be sent off to the neither regions of the stadium, and they're not going to plunk down $325 a pop for season tickets.
