Our rival got screwed.

In shock that voters/computers would completely disregard a 10 point win on a neutral field.  Pretty lame.

    The very best.
oklahoma isn't as good as texas. this will end up looking bad for the big 12 when the sooners get rocked in their bowl.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

On the upside, we can count on that rule getting changed now.  Deloss has a &@#%ing bat phone to the Big 12 office.

Is def. lame that the conference relies on the BCS for a three-way tiebreaker.  Tiebreakers should be performance-related, not giving the choice to pollsters.

Best team is in.

Good.

10 point win on neutral field.  You have no argument that OU is better.

You have no argument Texas is better than Tech.

Use your brain, freaks.

It's called logic.

K-State better team than Texas last two years.  Oregon State better team than USC this year.  Mississippi better than Florida this year.  Texas Tech better than Texas this year.  Oregon State v. Mississippi in BCS Championship!

 :kstatriot:

except both texas and oklahoma finished with the same record. the examples you gave don't even come close to this case.

texas is a better team. oklahoma has an absurd offense, but is young on defense, and a good team will slow their offense down enough (see red river shootout)

serious lols if oklahoma were to lose to mz and tx ended up in national title game without even winning their conference division. Also think that bcs ranking is fine way to decide who goes.

According to Big12 rules, the team with the highest BCS rating is the winner.  Sucks for Tech, but they weren't ranked high enough to even be close.  The fact that voters chose to push OU over Texas despite the head-to-head win (on a neutral field.  That's the important part) is pretty dumb.

Logic, my friend, shows that Texas is better than Oklahoma.

Thanks for playing!  Now go make another creepy video

OU should be in.  Their body of work is much better than Texas.  OU played Cinci (big east champ) and tcu in the OOC.  UT played nobody.  If UT should be ahead of OU, Tech should be ahead of UT, but that's not "logical" because we subjectively say "well, TT, even with one loss, still isn't as good at UT" (even though Tech beat them).  OU's body of work is much better.  Also, Brent's body is much better than anything UT has to offer.  Just look at him:

I'm not arguing who "should" be in. OU should. Better resume due to OOC wins. But, Texas is a better team.

And, JFC venzy looks amazing

IMO, OU or UT could handle Alabama's typical SEC offense, but UT might do better vs FL, :dunno:, JMO

    Hey, basketball!!!
Damnit, Texas would've be a better match-up vs. Alabama or Florida in the national championship game.

Texas is just an all around solid team. OU leans on their offense a little bit too much. :shy:

This Is a bunch of BS!!!!! i HATE the sooners.      OU = :chainsaw: :curse: :banghead: :chainsaw: :curse: :banghead:

i don't like TEXAS but i'd much rather see them go to the big 12 national championship and most likely the National Championship than OU.
