Good...I'm interested to see what happens with the UNM, Rutgers, Cal, and the games in Vegas...

Wonder when FSN will announce their schedule?  I gotta believe most, if not all of the games will be on TV.

Im almost positive all of the vegas games are nationally televised on FSN. They were all the other years at least.

"and the games in Vegas..."

Why not just make the trip..and drop a little dough here in Sin City?  Nothing says "Merry Chistmas" more than an Elvis impersonator in a Santa suit.

I want to, but we're thinking we'd rather drop that 1500 minimum on NCAA tourney stuff....just have to see.

how much are plane tickets? (i've become obsessed with planes every since flying on one for the first time ever in August (19 years)
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

IAH, the plane ticket is about 1500. Ridiculous.

I'd love to go back so I can slaughter some US Soldiers/US Contractor/or just some fellow iraqis for the hell of it.

The cheapest I've found is 159 each way, not including taxes, surcharges, and all that other BS...so, that's about 700 by the time it's said and done...300'ish for a hotel room....120 each for tickets...

So, by the time you eat out a few times, pay for cabfare, etc...you're looking at 1500 without even gambling or doing anything but the basketball tourney...

Which is fine by me, but we're still "thinking about it".

You can get a room for a lot less than $300 a night in Vegas.  Unless you have money to burn I don't understand why you'd pay that.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

i was budgeting for 100/night x 3 nights...I've found several in that price range.

Southwest is the only one I know of that goes direct.

We would be leaving late Thursday and coming back Sunday..  Gotta get to mass on xmas eve you know...
:)

If someone finds RT flights for 200 or less, i'd be quite interested.

"You've got to find yourself a better job."

Wayne Newton just isn't paying his limo drivers what he used to.  Might have to look around for something new.

225.  who cares if you go direct or not?

should be able to do better if you search around more/play with the dates.  it is close to christmas, but i bet you can get under 200 if you are even slightly flexible.

We would need to leave after 6 on the 21st...cheapest I'm seeing is 310 RT on orbitz.

I wanted to go on the 20th, but wifey has to work until the 21st.

I don't even mind not going direct, but most of the non-direct flight times suck.  I can't believe SW is the only one that goes direct.

I'm leaving from Denver, but on travelocity you can get round trip airfare and three nights at the hotel where the games are at (Orleans) for 235 a person.
