There are inherit traits within the man that can't be denied just because of his age.  He can, and likely will, motivate talent toward KSU again.  People know him, and they know his legacy.  Who wouldn't be energized to work/play for a coach with a winning record, and from what it seems, who really cares about building a family that works together as one.

That's one of the main reasons the Snyder hire makes sense.  He will have total autonomy to run the program, and he won't be at the mercy of the dumbasses in admin.  No other coach would be allowed to coach in a total vacuum like Snyder will.
