I have to assume that he is in discussions with Snyder for some type of position coach role.  Otherwise, he would have been on here with opinions by now.

If TP is tabbed for the new staff, he will likely have to give up control of this board.

Great Speculation Fellas...But I have not been offered any coaching job or any position on the staff for that matter. In the event that does happen, you better believe I have a plan for this site and it will be realized one way or the other...I will say that I have been slightly disappointed with the way the news of Snyder has been taken. But, that simply means I have a lot of work to do in getting the members of this site up to speed so that you guys can have an informed opinion about what is going...Go State! :ksu: :ksu: :ksu: :ksu:

Assistant coaching info would be step 1.

True insider information....can you be my "source" that I can flaunt and post like I'm "in the know" if you get offered a position?  :ksu:

TP...about our fan reaction....you haven't experienced enough reactional message board meltdowns yet.  They usually subside after about 24 hours.  The truth is usually found more after about 24-48 hours.  We all just got so hyped up on Patterson that I think this came as a bit of a shock.  I think we were thinking we would have some sort of closure on the Patterson situation (either a yes or a no).  Instead that seems to just be lingering there and we went straight for Snyder.  I wanted GP, but I guess this could be good with the right assistants.  Hopefully it works.

stop joking around winters he goes by Rusty.

By the way Rusty talks, you'd think that he won several NCs as a player, and several more as a coach.   Sadly, the truth is Rusty probably never played football above his sophomore year in high school, and bases his coaching acumen on watching the local 3A high school team.  Nonetheless, he knows more about D1 college football than any man alive, and certainly more than a lowly former All American linebacker or "Old Balls" Snyder.
