bmw's right.  ku has exceeded expectations this year.  and little makes them a better team than they were in the non-con.

Yeah, even with their favorable schedule I expected them to have a couple league losses by now.  But they do have 2 of the best 10 players in the league, and any time you have that you are going to be pretty good.  Especially in a league that is down.  Throw in that Little, even with starting late, has proven to be a pretty good player and ku is one of the top 2 teams in the league.

I was listening to Soren early last week, and the sqwawk and/or tiger fans were still convinced Frank couldn't coach, was a disgrace to the university and K-State should hire a SLTH, like Jank said the ku fan (who kept offering his advice with a "They should.")

To his credit, Soren pretty much told them they didn't know what they were talking about, especially the mu fan that said Anderson would beat Frank 8 out of ten times.

As Frank keeps winning, look for the calls we get rid of the high school coach to ring louder and louder in Lawrence and Columbia.

Obviously, this was the year they hoped to beat that drum loudly, before all the recruits show up next year to add to the nucleus that is accomplishing what these guys are doing this year.  The way I see it, Anderson and Self better hope they get Frank this year, because it will get really hard for them to get him in the future.

You could say the same thing about K-State fans... ku was supposed to suck during a "rebuilding" year, and instead, ku's 8-0 in the Big 12 and looking at a top 4 seed in the NCAA tourney.

You could say that but you'd be an idiot.  Everyone knows KSU has some talent, but the talent pool is about to increase significantly next year, adding to the nucleus of this year.  I don't think the ku talent will increase nearly as much for next year as the KSU increase.

Easy schedule for ku so far with your only tough games at home.  Still, a loss tonight at MU, loss Saturday at KSU and that's two, with OU, Texas, etc still hanging out there on the schedule.  Oh, and I don't want to embarrass you for the obvious error but I'm sure you meant to say looking at a top 4 seed in the Big 12 tourney.  I think you're right, your team will probably end up with that.

Update?

 :ksu:

Conference road record is the biggest indicator (IMHO) of SLTH vs non-SLTH (sorry sys).

Finally looked at the actual numbers:

Altman: .464 home, .214 road.

Asbury: .522 home, .089 road.

Wooldridge: .500 home, .156 road.

Martin: .750 home, .462 road.

Now that's how you get out a f***ing blood stain.
ku has a 5* and 4* coming next year.  and they'll prolly steal cousins from us like they did to little last year.   also their 4* is sitting right outside the top 25 while ours is 64 spots lower in the rankings.
When I was a kid growing up in the projects, I used to dream of going into space, of escaping the slums, of killing an Ewok!

ku will be good next year if Collins and Aldridge stick around.  IF one goes and one stays they'll be pretty good but not great similar to this season.  IF both go it could be a true rebuilding year for them.

In comparsion to KSU.  IF both stay ku will be better then KSU.  If one goes and one stays the two teams will be about equal.  If both go KSU will be better then ku next season.
