This could be a first, a slogan that BSP (Black Stan Parrish) didn't "steal" from someone else.

Otherwise . . . wefense . . .

Was that coined before or after a 26 Mf'er tirade??

I may be a lil ol' fashioned in this regard....  but, i'd really rather see them master the fundamental skills of DEFENSE like alignnment, schemes, and tackling before moving on to shlt  nobody's heard of.

If it were really prince's term, he would have called it Wii-fense and started a facebook group about it in hopes of signing a NCOAT  (nerdiest class of all time)

Actually....    I like playing Wii.  so nerds, don't take offense.

Actually, the "Wefense" refers to Prince's latest signee.  Prince expects him to make an immediate impact on "D,"  right after his greyshirt season.  He may be small, old and frail, but he is FAST!

And at Kansas State, as Ian Campbell says, "You'd have to be in a coma not to know how important special teams are."
Uhhh, yeah they are....but we need to get out of that coma on defense Ian.

Quote
Prince then mentioned the best Kansas State has had — Marcus Watts, Jordy Nelson and Yamon Figurs — received their first applause on special teams.
Uhhh, NO!!!  These three might be in the Top 10, but cracking the Top 5 gets tougher...let alone the best we've had.  I can think of 4 better returners than Nelson and Figurs without a debate.

With the word borrowed from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, defined, it's the coming together of offensive and defensive players to play on the variety of special teams units.
Would you really expect it to be original?

What kind of &@#%ing ego does Prince have? Did he not watch KSU football at all between the time we didn't offer him a schollie to the worst program in the country and the time he took the HC job?  That settles it, Prince is a monumental asshole.

Maybe spend a little more time on "How to tackle" and a little less on creative names for special teams Ronny.

Wefense sounds gay.  How about elite death squad of doom.

Better yet ....... Identify ball carrier, calulate best angle, Hit, wrap up, drive with legs, lift and force to ground with utmost force.
