    This ZERO is my Hero
Listening to 810 over the net and I keep hearing that promo, "This is Kansas football.  'The scramble' at CU, 'The stop' at A&M, and 'The comeback' in Manhattan."

Do you actually remember 'the scramble' or 'the stop?'  Also do you actually consider the game in Manhattan a comeback?  Because from what I remember of that game you guys controlled most of that game, and its not like you were way behind at any point in the game.  I am not sure it being labeled as 'the comeback' is warrented.

Thoughts.

i think i'm catching your vibe-  this is similar to how they make fun of the DoD, right?

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

The "unlucky bounce" vs. Mizzou.

I think it is great how they are lining Kietz's pockets.  They advertise more than the Cookie Diet and Rick the Tailor put together.

they are running that ad during chiefs games and royals games too.  seems like they are advertising more than they ever did when they were winning 4 games a year.  at this point its completely embarrasing.  are their ticket prices too high?  whats the deal?

They need to advertise alot to guilt trip their fans into going to at least one big home game. Arrowhead doesn't bring money to Lawrence you know.

We're their superbowl ths year.

ku does have tradition. Traditionally, they field a strong team about once a decade. They talk a lot about how they've turned around, and then tank the next season and go into a long era of suckage.

Yeah about as much tradition as Nebraska basketball.

God, people from Nebraska suck ass!  Never seen a bigger group of washed up inbred rejects in my life.

Honestly I'm gonna miss you Mark!!
the past couple weeks ive had some thoughts about that ad on the radio.

1. they call every other school by name but can only mention Manhattan for KSU

2. the play after "the comeback in Manhattan" can't be a spot from the KSU-ku game is it? if so the ku TD roar is sad to think it was in BSFS

3. the rock chalk chant sounds like its in a gymnasium...  :skillz:

I don't know but it sure was fun watching ku win in the OB and the NC in basketball.  Being a loser isn't all that bad I suppose.  Hows life as a winner?  :dancin: :runaway:
According to ku police reports, the fight involved as many as 100 people.
“We’re pretty sure an incident occurred,” said Capt. Schuyler Bailey, ku Public Safety Officer
“We will handle any discipline regarding this incident internally, and we will have no further comment about it.” Perkins

Yes I remember all three instances of tradition for ku.  Reesing's scramble against CU, Stopping Lane on 4-1, and the win in Manhattan.  I wouldn't call it "the comeback" though.  Maybe "the big step in the right freaking direction".  What was it, since 89 ku hadn't scored a TD in Manhattan.  Luckily since all of our tradition occurred last year I was able to be a part of the excitement as a fan. And those memories are oh so fresh as we move closer to the new season.    But Also let's not forget the "most points ever scored on Nebraska" game.  Probably my favorite game of last year other than the OB.

I was pretty pumped about Kstate's newfound tradition after our trip to the Copper Bowl in '93. lmfao
