I think he'll end up getting paid around 10 or 12 mill just for sitting on the bench and if somebody buys the rights to his contract if the pack releases him he will get paid more on top of that(I could be bullsh1tting that one but pretty sure). or he'll end up getting traded and will still be making bank and playing football. but I am ready for the soap opera to be over.

From what I'm hearing they offered him $20 million to stay retired. That pretty much means he would get paid $20 million sitting around watching games instead of getting beaten week in and week out for over 22 weeks. I just don't get why he would even think about this deal... TAKE IT!

I guess I see your point. Some guys have the drive to play more than others. I guess none of us know whats going through the mind of Brett Favre.
