The departure of Hughes means K-State will have a scholarship available. If coach Bob Huggins decides to try to use it for the coming season, Rivals.com analyst Justin Young isn’t sure who’s out there.
“Unless there’s some big man that’s hidden overseas, at this point it’s pretty slim pickings,” Young said. “Clarence Holloway (a 7-1 player who originally signed with Louisville but didn’t qualify and attended a prep school in Florida this past year) could still be out there, but I haven’t heard much on him lately. But I don’t think he wants to go to college. I think he just wants to go pro.”
