    The very best.
The show is great because of two characters, stewie and the dog (brian). The rest of the characters are good, but these two completely elevate the show.

Peter is kind of sh1tty in the show. JMO, but some of the things he does I find myself not laughing @, as they are sometimes inconsistent w/his character.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Peter is the best character by far.

Both Stewie and Brian couldn't sustain the show. Just as Homer made the Simpsons worth watching, so does Peter.

I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

Peter is the easiest character to execute. The show is a complete rip-off of the simpsons, thus the dad is expected to be fat and dumb

IMO, Lois is terrible.  I would rank the fam as follows:

Stewie
Brian
Peter
Chris
Meg (not really her, but when they make fun of her)
Lois

Favorite non-fam character is Tom Tucker.

Stewie could have a show called the Stewie show and I would watch.

Fav. non-fam character is Ollie Williams

i don't think the characters lack anything. at times i'd like to see more quagmire but other than that its amazing.  i do agree that stew takes it to another level.

we need a fav. family guy thread.

chris is pretty terrible as well. they could cut him out and I wouldn't care.

(keep in mind I am being very harsh in this review, the show is great)

Peter is no easier to execute than Brian or Stewie. They are all one dimensional.

Family Guy has better humor than the Simpsons overall. Far too little laughs in each Simpsons episode compared to Family Guy.

The least funny character is Chris with Meg close by. Lois is fine.

I hate this show.
are you one of those people like cartman (baisicly the opinions of matt and terry when it comes to family guy) from south park?
Chris can have his moments on family guy but i don't really find him all that funny, baisicly if 2 people had to be voted off the island/show chris and meg would have to go.

    Wait...what?
No doubt that Stewie and Brian are the reasons to watch this show.

Peter is a boor, and not usually a funny one.  "Hey, look at me!  I'm fat, dumb, and make outrageous statements."  However, I think his saving grace is that the Family Guy writers portray him in this manner as a send-up of the way fathers are usually portrayed on TV (as previously mentioned, Homer, or Al Bundy, or even Raymond or Tim Taylor), rather than being an idiot just for the sake of the character.

The other day I was at the Royals game, and they played the first 15 seconds or so of this when the opposing pitcher was taken out of the game:

i think seth macfarlane is a genius.  he incorporates every aspect of suburban life down the finest of details, like having a child molester in your neighborhood.
