“I’m really not sure who will start for them. Coach (Ron) Prince didn’t give any information when I was still there who would be starting or who he was leaning to,” Webb said. “I just decided it would be in my best interest to go.”

“I would have liked to have stayed at Kansas State and graduate in December (he needed to pass only three classes in order to do so). But it didn’t pan out,” Webb, a senior, said.

Asked if he thought he would have received an equal opportunity to win the battle among himself, Allan Evridge, Josh Freeman and Dylan Meier, Webb said: “I’d really rather not answer.”

Webb didn’t rule out the possibility of returning to K-State someday to complete his degree.

Both he and Evridge wouldn't answer this question. Why do you think that is?
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

we won't beat a team in the big 12 with a true freshman qb and 2 OL starters still trying to run 300 yards really fast.
