A source suggested that all four -- Mayo, Walker, Pope and Beasley -- would take official visits to Manhattan on the same weekend, likely Sept. 23, when the K-State football team hosts Louisville, a likely nationally televised event.

Well....first of all.....the outcome of this game doesn't won't effect the players decisons one bit. They are more interested in our campus....our fans....and our BB program....it's coach, facilities, the whole nine yards. Whether Louisville beats us or not has absolutley nothing to do with the equations.

And no Rusty....no one is falling off the Ron Prince bandwagon......as our FB season tickets are going at a RECORD pace.

Can't wait til BOTH Football and Basketball seasons.

They were after Bill Walker, and he had shown some interest.  And don't believe for a minute that they really backed off of Pope.  Especially with Brian Johnson leaving the team.  That is just a ploy that Pitino uses to get players attention...

EDIT: And OJ Mayo still lists Louisville as a school of interest.  But that is a REALLY long shot for Louisville since EVERYBODY knows Mayo is going to USC.

i haven't heard it either but some reasons could be its an 8 game slate that stayed the same price as last seasons 6 gamer...also a very attractive schedule too compared to past seasons.
