    The very best.
A source suggested that all four -- Mayo, Walker, Pope and Beasley -- would take official visits to Manhattan on the same weekend, likely Sept. 23, when the K-State football team hosts Louisville, a likely nationally televised event.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Possibly not the best opponent for those visits.  Louisville is in contention for at least one of those recruits and it would be a bitch if they embarrassed KSU in front of them and swayed their interest.  KSU had better kick ass and put egg on Louisville’s face...

Conversely, you could argue that the wheels won't have fallen off the Ron Prince bandwagon yet and it will be one of the most lively crowds of the year.

Well....first of all.....the outcome of this game doesn't won't effect the players decisons one bit. They are more interested in our campus....our fans....and our BB program....it's coach, facilities, the whole nine yards. Whether Louisville beats us or not has absolutley nothing to do with the equations.

And no Rusty....no one is falling off the Ron Prince bandwagon......as our FB season tickets are going at a RECORD pace.

Can't wait til BOTH Football and Basketball seasons.  :D

Louisville is after who? They quit recruiting Herb Pope.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

They were after Bill Walker, and he had shown some interest.  And don't believe for a minute that they really backed off of Pope.  Especially with Brian Johnson leaving the team.  That is just a ploy that Pitino uses to get players attention...

EDIT: And OJ Mayo still lists Louisville as a school of interest.  But that is a REALLY long shot for Louisville since EVERYBODY knows Mayo is going to USC.

Any team in the nation could say the same thing.  Got room for Bill Walker? Nope, not interested in that guy.

it appears pope is ours to lose.  if he's visiting that means huggins is still interested in him.  hopefully he gets his crap together, he's got incredible skill for a guy his size.

i haven't heard it either but some reasons could be its an 8 game slate that stayed the same price as last seasons 6 gamer...also a very attractive schedule too compared to past seasons.

He misunderstood.  What was said was that football PLAYERS are TRANSFERRING at a record pace.
