Tom Osborne is a freakin' genius.  The fact that a football program like NU had to hire a guy that had been passed over by every school in the country that had a coaching vacancy for the last three years is amazing.  The only thing lower on the ladder would be Ron Prince.

Snyder had nothing to do with Prince, other than he kept his temper tantrum about the hiring private instead of public.

But he would have been a crappy AD.  Imagine him trying to fire......anybody?
