Do we lose a scholarship for Jason Bennett being a moron and leaving us in poor academic standing?  I read it on another board, but had never heard it official anywhere

probably not the worst thing in the world.  We will save it for 2009 where it appears we have many that want to play for us.  Terrance Boyd is an intriguing prospect and I think he wants to come here.  I'm not sure about us landing Jeff Reid, but we will see.  I would love for Frank to talk Herrera into walking on, probably just a pipe dream though

I found this article hilarious.  This quote should reel you in:

"Kids used to hit him and stab him with pencils," says Harley Bennett, Jason's father. "Finally I told him he had to stick up for himself. Jason is not a violent person. One day he hit one of the kids back and got suspended."

I'm picturing a 12 year old Jason Bennett sitting minding his own business when a fellow student jumps up and stabs him in the face.

Wouldn't you pick on a kid who is 7 feet tall at age 4, and is still a huge pussy?

Absolutely.  It would be funny.  I bet he cried a lot.

man, now i feel sorry for him.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

I feel worse for myself.  As a fan I myself never had an opportunity to stab Jason Bennett with a pencil.
