You can't be racist and like basketball.
He's basically taken over a machine created by Weber and carried out by Painter.

He's only been a head coach for two years, and those two seasons have included losses to Arkansas-Little Rock, Monmouth, Alaska-Anchorage, and a home loss last week to 2-11 Indiana State.

That's arguably more bad losses in two years than Jim's had.

Lowery would be the ideal candidate, IMO, if he had spent two more years as an assistant at Illinois and was two years deeper into his head coaching career at SIU.

McDermott would be a much, much, much better choice, IMO.

Yeah, Lowery makes as much sense as Kennedy. I want Huggins more and more. I want quick success and I think Huggins would bring it.

Yeah, Lowery makes as much sense as Kennedy. I want Huggins more and more. I want quick success and I think Huggins would bring it.

The advantage Kennedy has over Lowery is his experience as recruiting coordinator and HC at Cincy, which consistantly plays top-notch competition.  Lowery loses to a team called the "Sycamores".

You're right, though, that Kennedy inherited some pretty good seniors.  However, he's had it much more difficult than Lowery has - right before the season, he was able to land a transfer from an NAIA school (and was forced to play him immediately), and he recently had some football players join the team a la Rashad Washington.

It's a shame people are scared of Huggins.

I'll agree that Lowery is more of a wildcard b/c of the lack of experience.  That's why I have him in my 2nd tier below Hobbs, McDermott, and Anderson.
