KSUfans.com will become the #1 Kstate sports BBS!
And i am just to tired to go through every post, This is what I saw last night, I saw that maybe minus Beasley we are going to have a hell of a board man in Anderson, Pullen will score and run away with assists, with Bill Walker he will be a scorer and if he's gone we are going to have some very good defense on the floor, YOU ALL ARE WORRIED ABOUT NEXT YEAR???? I think we are going to be a special team for the next 2 or 3 years, and even longer if ol' Frank and Hill can keep the recruiting up. Great Job Cats lets take it to the cheese heads! Thanks for showing up Billy, and thsi game better allow Anderson and Sutton more minutes!

"I don't know if I will be able to knock out as many teeth as big Lu, but I hope to pick up on the scoring and rebounding aspects." Wally Judge talking about being a biig of the future for KSU!

If you're not an all'star and you make a mistake you sit for at least 5 minutes.  Rule 1a.

His 3-pointer last night aside, Sutton is a liability in the half court offense at this point.  As for Anderson, I have no idea why he hasn't gotten more minutes.

Sutton frustrated the hell out of me last night.  He kept turning down open looks/ or looks that would send him to the line and passed it back out to the perimeter.  Frank needs to encourage him to be more comfortable around the bucket.

I counted five times he drove to the paint and stopped.  He can jump good so he should just go for contact and a foul.

IMO Colon and Kent should never see the floor ahead of Anderson.  Ron should be our first "big off of the bench."  He's got such great hands and control and great rebounding ability.  Kent was really bad last night on defense.  Also, Sutton should see twice as many minutes as Gilbert as we saw last night.  Frank did a great job with offense for defense, he put sutton in for defense and then at every dead ball chance got Ron in for offense.  Great job!

Question:  why didn't Frank play Anderson and Sutton more during the season?

anderson was horrible defensively earlier in the year.  he still has trouble at times.  he also has struggled against more physical teams.

aside from his injury, sutton has no jump shot and makes a lot of mistakes defensively.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."
