New England K Martin Gramatica vs. Steve Gostkowksi

Gramatica, who earned a Super Bowl ring with Tampa Bay; and fourth-round pick Gostkowski, a pitcher on the baseball team as well as kicker at the University of Memphis, will compete for the vacancy left by Vinatieri. Gramatica hasn’t tried a field goal since Tampa Bay released him midway through the 2004 season, though he did handle kickoffs for Indianapolis at the end of that season.
