lol shawn your a funny guy. Beasley will run away with the POY, after all he leads in points, rebounds, and blocks with less minutes played than "Psycho". The only thing that's Psycho is the fact that anyone thinks that Tyler has a chance of POY over beasley. POY 2nd year in a row in the big12. :beerchug:

They said he should win it because Hansblow shoots 4 less shots per game than Beasley.

I think we should judge the contest based on the one statistic where hansbrough has a slight edge on beasley.

This is Shawn's pyschology game, he knows that Mike frequently reads this board and he is firing him up by saying he doesn't play hard, it's obvious.  Is it just me or is it a coincidence that right when Stunner left the board that Shawnwinters appeared, sort of strange

Probably because he doesn't get as many rebounds. Hey Tyler try to get some more offensive rebounds you FP.

Beasley should already be holding the Naismith in Bramlage....

Imagine the numbers he would put up if he played as many minutes as Hansbrough, for a team like UNC....30 and 17? 32 and 20? It would be ridiculous. I like JPullen, but a healthy Ty Lawson certainly gets either of these guys an extra 4-6 points per game.

So, Hansbrough has a higher FG% is an indication he is more deserving? If Beasely only took shots around the rim or in the painted area, his FG% would be (at least) the same.

Could Hansbrough replace Beasley on KSU and they have the same success? Would he put up similar #'s? I doubt it.....

wow i was over on the unc board and reading thru there poy threads and I don't understand them.  Most of them agree beasley is the better player but they still think hansborough should get POY.  Please someone explain this to me.

Roy will curse at you if you take away his POY award for Tyler.  Just like he cursed at Coach K and that reporter girl.

the way i figure it... tonite is the only chance beasley has to take a shot at the poy... if he has a dominant game on a national stage, against good competition, on the road, in front of espn and vitale, he could build himself a pretty good case provided he doesn't tank in the tournaments...

personally, i think don't think i could drink enough to down one everytime we hear the word "hansbrough" tonite... maybe i'll try every time we hear the word "quiet" in front of mike's scoring total

come up short and there is absolutely no chance he wins poy... it basically all comes down to this game
