Anybody going anywhere, or have a regular spot?  I've heard that Kite's might be good...smokeless.

What part of town are you in?

You do know it's on Time Warner channel 203?

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Kites would probably have the highest concentration of K-State fans + it's closest to you than any other good places that might have the game.  Good thing for you if you're wanting to watch it somewhere is that ku plays 6-8pm game so you won't have to fight their fans for a television.

Yeah, I was thinking Johnny's or Tanner's at first, but remembered the ku game and didn't want to run into a bunch of hawkers.

never go to one of those places if a ku game is on.

rusty's/kites is the best way to go in shawnee but you might have to go a little early, dont' know what the crowd would be like on a wed.

Best wings in America.  I've been to the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, so I know what I'm talking about.

Where would be a good place in Olathe, or close to watch the game without a huge gayhawk contingent there?

The Other place was good a few years ago but I haven't been there since, it was during football season and not up against a ku basketball game (when all the queer bandwagon gayhawk losers come out of the woodwork)
Lucky Brewgrille in mission has a lot of K-staters there though.

probably the best in terms of KSU fans going, and friendly not obnoxious opposing fans atmosphere.

And I'm partial to their sandwiches.

rediculously good.

I just found out that the SMPKWY/Pflum location is no longer in operation.  There is now a "Famous Sam's" there.  It's some sort of chain out of Arizona that specializes in ham sandwiches or something.  Sad.

It looks like the Peanut at 76th and Metcalf is the closest option.  The place is a hole, but I'll go there for the wings.

I was there last weekend and the name has changed but the menu was the same.  I don't know if they just changed names or what.  I hadn't been to a Peanut in a while though so it could have all changed, I saw someone that had ordered the wings didn't try them myself but they looked exactly the same.

Me and my roomies will be at Kite's.  It wasn't too crowded for the Notre Dame game, but it may fill up more for conference.
