That is a sweet design.  I am very, very impressed.  The only question that I have is if this is real, "why did they not have this done for this year?"  Unless, they decided to wait on the new 3 point line.  WOW!

K-State AD related stuff = California Grotesk.

We've had our current design for a few years, and they've got to repaint the 3-point line, so I think yes.

the existing 3pt line will stay for the women, a new line will be added for the men.

the powercat belongs with football.  it should not be confused as a mascot or whatever for our basketball team.  i'd like to see the block K at halfcourt   if we can't do the state outline.   the only good thing i can say about that powercat is that it isn't oversized, colored like a basketball, with dimples, and it's smaller than the one we have now.

I'm just saying that the powercat is an image of Kansas State. How many times can one school try to change it's image? We just decided within the past couple years to change the email from ksu.edu to k-state.edt because k-state was more "recognizable". Let's just stick with something that people can equate with Kansas State. I'm not a huge fan either (people at work say it looks like the old Thundercat symbol", but at least they see it and think K-State.
