So with a win over a top 25 school (#26 anyway), and a team that was in the most recent bracketology (as a 6 seed), i would have to think that we are going to start getting some love once again from the top twenty five voters. With a win over aTm, we may be top 20.

Look at our loses as well, Xavier, top 25 and still rolling, George Mason, still playing well, and Oregon beating up on Arizona. Even Notre Dame, even though they lost bad to Marquett, still isnt a bad loss for us. (We beat MU in a scrimmage before the season, in case you had forgotten)  :woohoo:

This team may be as good as advertised after all.  :beerchug:

Xavier, Oregon, and Notre Dame will be fine.  George Mason may end up being a bad loss though as so far they are proving to be a very bad team on the road.  I think if we played them again right now on a neutral site we'd win by 15.  The only thing we might get as long as we have a strong Big 12 season is that we played them while we were still pretty young.

And yes, beat aTm next weekend and we have a good shot at the top 25.

Amen.  The last couple years all big wins after then brought let downs.  But, I think Frank get his boys ready to play.

Putting back to back wins against these two teams would be a big sign of growth from this team.  But we have to win first.  This game being at home is huge, we just can't blow it.

Who gives a sh*t about being ranked?  I don't give a damn if they run the table and don't even receive a vote.

Everyone, because rankings are based on wins.  How many top 25 teams have missed the field?

My point, dumbass, is that who gives a sh*t about it.  Just win.  We were ranked at the beginning of the season, sure helped us out.  We win one f*cking road game and now we're a top 25 team?

OMG. What a retard.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Anyway.  You negated your own point.  Your point was that other people's perspective matter less than winning.  Tell that sh* to Cartier.

If you're coaching/playing this attitude is great.  I'm not either one so I'll look ahead.

If we run the table, we will start getting some votes imo.

Yes, I know.  Win and that crap takes care of itself.  Basketball AP/Coaches polls are worthless though.  Our RPI is the "ranking" we should care about.  St. Mary's is 13-2, and 4-1 against top 50 RPI, and are unranked.
