The steep drop off from the higher level is more than it seems in that photo.  You really feel on top of everything from the front row of the first tier.  We were just there for a graduation and the whole area around the arena is tore to hell with construction going on.

GIA is the coolest/most intimidating place in the XII (just my JMO).  I walked through during one of Eddie's practices in 2003, and cannot imagine what it would be like with all of those Poke fans screaming at you.

Went to a game in GIA pre-expansion.  A bad Cats (Dies-Rhodes era) team against a bad Cowboy team.  It was a pretty cool place.  Pretty unbelievable what they did with it in the expansion.
