Never ceases to make me laugh.
In basketball when ku wins the conference but chokes out in the 1st round of the NCAA tourney, winning the conference is more important.
You mean the regulars at phog don't have a nuclear meltdown over those?
When KSU was going to 11 or 12 straight bowls including multiple "New Years Day" Bowls ku fans told us it was no big deal because KSU wasn't winning the conference but one time. It's been 41 years since ku tied for a conference championship but of course ku fans say a BCS bowl win is more important.
Most will give a nod to the days of Bill Snyder. But its easy enough to point out that Ksu did nothing with its one big 12 conference win. They won bowl games but not BCS bowls. And they didn't play in a title game.
Now you can point out ku's lack of conference championships in football. I'll expect as much until we win won. But expect an 'Orange Bowl' every time.

I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC. If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70
