not to say i dont have faith in huggins but what is the biggest difference between kstate getting huggins and ttech getting knight?  b/c in all honesty tech hasnt improved that much during knights tenure.  obviously we have already gotten a pretty solid recruiting class plus beasley at present time but why will huggins make more of an impact than knight did?  nobody ever talks about tech winning the big 12 championship or making a run for a title and hes actually won one.

Because Huggins will make a run for the title.... He has already brougth in 3000 new season ticket holders and two five star recruits. Knight didn't do that before he even coached a game at Tech. I think Huggins has already surpassed what Knight has done for Tech with what he has done in the last couple of months.

knight's peaked, huggins still has many years left.  maybe huggins has peaked, who knows?, but he still has many really good years in him and definitely improved NCAA tourny years for us.  Knights also not a coach that young kids want to play for, huggins is.  not that some dont want to play for knight but top of the line kids arent coming to tech just to do that.  And knight coached at indiana before tech, he took a step down program wise.  Huggins went from cincy to KSU, While basketball is better at cincy and ksu is a step down recent basketball wise, this can be considered a promotion for huggins in some ways.  I wouldnt count tech out though, i think knight eventually might get a fairly consistent tourny team there, then again i trusted wooly to do it here.....so what do i know

I am really happy about the way the Huggins hire has gone so far. Although it is early in his career at K-State, I really do think he has turned himself around. Knight was able to and I think Huggins will stay at K-State with no problems at all. Weiser took a huge gamble in hiring Huggs and it seems like it might just pay off. As of now, I would definitely take Huggins over Knight if I was offered one of the two..

basically huggins is much younger, recruits better due to his ability to relate to players better, and is going to a school with some semblance of a basketball history with a fanbase that will back him.

huggins>>>>>>>>knight

if huggins is coaching as long as knight has, i think he'll have more wins and possibly titles.
