    ANGRY AS F*CK
When I updated my iTunes, it downloaded Safari.  I'm using it right now, seems nice.  Not too much "bling," I like that.  Any reason why I shouldn't just use this instead of Firefox?    :users:  <---me on my pc.

Also, tell me fun add-ons and crap.

Just use Safari...

...if you're a fairy.

The fact it downloaded on an update for something else is enough reason for me not to ever use it.

Check out Chrome. I've been using it and it seems pretty smooth.

Eh, I think it asked me if I wanted to download it and I just didn't uncheck the box.

Who makes Chrome?  I'm perfectly happy with Firefox because it's simple.  IE can suck my ballsack.

Firefox is open source :dunno:

Also, Apple software was the first one hacked @ pwn 2 own

Google makes Chrome, has interesting features (such as running each tab as its own process)

Firefox 3.1 is supposed to be hella fast though (coming soon)

If you like Safari better, then use it. I have Safari, Chrome, IE, and FF, and pretty much never stray from FF. I like the interface and all the skins and stuff FF has to offer.

I really can't stand Chrome's blue bar in XP, but in Vista it's gorgeous. It's very clean and further ahead than any other program at its age. Apple's products on windows systems are garbage. FF's selection of add ons and  features can't be beat.

Are you on a mac or winblowz?  I'm using FF3 on the mac, but my friend said the new safari is pretty nice so I might check it out.

Google Chrome is the best thing on Windows.  Fast like James Dean's Porsche.  I don't know if they made a mac version yet.

IE8 has same thing, Firefox can clear all data on exit, and is getting feature soon

Or is attainable with add-ons

Chrome's only good feature is splitting the processes, I like nothing else about it.

Huh. Now that you mention it, it could be handy for "porn", too.

I'm a Mac geek but I love Firefox for the add-ons.

Favicons in the toolbar especially. PDFs. Bookmarking. RSS, etc

Thank You! The way it sounds, I am the only left in the world using IE7. I also have IE8 on another desktop and it runs just fine. Some random sites don't align right, but that will all change when IE8 becomes what most people design sites for( other than firefox).

I get the same problem with IE8, and not just random sites. Seems to have an issue with older CSS that doesn't affect Firefox or Chrome.

Yeah i agree....usually the compatibility button works 8/10 on fixing the alignments.

Browser usage update: I love Opera. I DL'ed it because I was getting bored of FF and didn't feel like switching back from 3.1 beta. Opera is really smooth and looks great on Vista. Really fast as well. I'd rank it 2nd in my list of browsers (knocking Chrome down to 3).

My partner and I are sitting here at work trying to figure something out. You see, we have this word doc. that we send with e-mails as an attachment but we would like to
change that a bit. We were hoping that we could set it up so that when we send a e-mail, the attachment automatically comes up as the actual e-mail itself. She's pretty good at that kind of stuff but we just can't figure it out. Anyone out there really awesome with computers?

I am very much not awesome at computers.  But, I would say you should just set it up in google docs and set each user as an owner of the document or whatever.  That way you can each edit it and can each be on at the same time editing it if you want so you can see what the other is doing.  :dunno:

Assuming it's not simple text, you'll have to do HTML, I'd assume.

Also, Opera is dead last on my list after they EU debacle.
