The Truth

Their two most difficult games are on the horizon.  They will defeat ISU easily but will then lose to Missouri, in one fail swoop their entire  season will go up in flames  :flamethrower: when they find themselves on the doorstep of a NCG and are left with their very own little Alamo Bowl.  Don't worry little cats, ku is about to be introduced to their version of the 1998 KSU season.

The Truth has spoken.

And here I thought Mangino was simply going to gravity-shift the momentum his way by standing in the end zone. Whew.

Look.

I don't know how to explain all this you people.  You all are like me, wishing that ku would lose and looking for any excuse to employ the "downfall" but you all need to take of your hate glasses (it has been extremely difficult for me to, but you must) and see it.

Mangino's team is playing strong and well.   They are healthy.   They are starting to dominate people and Reesing is becoming extremely comfortable in his position.

ku is more than likely going to win the Big 12 and play for the NC.  I hope I'm wrong, but nothing I've seen is going to change that.

Get ready.  If you think NU fans are horrible, wait until the squawks get in the NC game.

We can hope I guess..but with how well they are playing right now..they're every bit as good as Mizzou and Oklahoma. It'll come down to fewer mistakes.

Would be funny to see them choke the Big XII Title game in triple OT or something like that.

As some1 else pointed out, why couldn't this have been us, 1998? I'm not sure I can deal with ku winning a NC out of the blue. It's just not right!  :crybaby: :crybaby: :crybaby:

I agree that ku is a good team.  And it really sucks.

I don't know that they're more than likely going to win the Big XII.  I would put MU, OU, and ku all on the same 'tier' if you get what I'm saying.  ku has to play both of them to reach that goal.  They could win, but beating both of those teams in a row is an extremely tall task.

Its scary getting props from a ksu fan.  I hope to god you didnt put a voodoo hex on ku with your Nat'l Championship statement.  One game at a time.  ISU is more important that Moo OU or any bowl talk right now.

how the hell has ku not had one injury........

We started out the year without our #2 corner (missed the non-conference), and one of our DT was coming off an injury. Playing this style of offense really keeps most of the guys out of harms way. Defenses can't zero in on one guy (see Cornish) and just lay into him play after play. Also, the strength and conditioning coach at ku is one of the best in the country (IMO). He has the guys physically prepared for every game.

I think a few guys got banged up after this game. Hopefully no one will be out for next week.

Seriously, I don't want to see ku succeed.  I was very happy having KSU put 50+ points a game on your barely getting a TD.   When you guys were beating KSU in the past, you really didn't have the kind of success that KSU had when we were kicking your ass in the football world so beating the crap out of you guys was much more significant.

Now, it's the other way around and it makes me sick.  That doesn't take away from the reality that you guys have a great team and unless I see you have a complete meltdown, you're going to prolly go to the NC game.   Two of the next three games are against ranked opponents for you, and both in the Top 10.   Beating those teams will only make your case to face probably an Oregon team that is prolly going to be the best game considering your defense.

So good luck.. but I don't have to like it.

Except that we arent frauds like KSUCK was for that small time period. Only game we will lose is to OU which could go either way. I fully expect to see us in the title game though after 10 games

If they lose to mizzou, which i'm not convinced of moving the game to arrowhead will go down as one of the absolute stupedist moves in athletic dept history.

Having said that mizzou will be lightyears beyond any team that ku has played this year.  ku doesn't have a win against a team with more than 6 wins.  A&M right now is easily their best win, which is incredible this late in the season.

Having said that, it is not their fault that the big 12 while having 4 very good teams has a huuuuuuuuge drop off.
