I would be more embarrassed if we lost to Nebraska right now.  I expected our game with Iowa State to be within 10 points so it's not completely shocking we lost.  It's one thing losing to the Clones, who are improving, but it's another thing to lose to Nebraska.  Losing to Nebraska right now is like losing to a Sun Belt team below Troy St.

Please don't implode again, football team.

And if we have the opportunity, please score 100 points.

NU by far. They win, it'll be on national tv (espn will mention something). Losing to ISU doesnt stick out bc no one really cares about either team.
Not to mention, ISU>NU

    The "other" KSU
Yeah, no one really cares about ISU - BUT all things created equal, it is more embarrassing to give a team their ONLY win in Conference! That is HUMILIATING.

The flip side - NU's only win in Conf came against ISU, if we lose to NU, there is a chance that we could be vying for the second worst team in the north if you look at the games the north teams have played against each other (as CU lost to us).
That, my freinds, would be PUTRID. HOW do we look that good against UT & CU and look THAT crappy against all the other teams - inconsistant is our middle name, first name - MUD.  :yuck:  :curse: :bs: :banghead: :forked:

If we lose to Nebraska we should terminate the football program and turn BSFMS into a large outdoor rodeo and equestrian facility.

Nebraska is worse. If we lose to the nubbs, they will stroll back over here and talk as much trash as they did this summer. ISU fans don't have computers, so they didn't do so...

My god how bad would it be to be the team that lost to both ISU and the Huskers this year. You would be the laughing stock of all the Big XII. You wouldn't be able to live that one down for years. 20 years from now people will still be pointing and reminding you of the year you lost to ISU and Nebraska when they both really sucked.

the PERCEPTION is that NU would be a worse loss. but in REALITY, NU is a better team than ISU.  NU's losses are USC, UT, OSU, ku, MU, and A&M.  2 top 10 teams, 2 top 15 teams, and 2 more very competitive teams.  There is really no bad team in their loss column.  the fact is NU has played a bunch of good teams.  It has made them look worse than they are.  NU will probably win this game.  they are a pretty good team that has played a brutal schedule.  they would beat ISU 8-9 times out of 10.  the isu loss is clearly a worse loss for ksu , but people won't recognize it because they aren't paying attention to the details.

they are a pretty good team

pretty good teams give up 76 points?

Or how bout letting Okie State light you up 38-0 in one half of football?

Nebraska is not good...but I'll agree that they've played some pretty talented teams this year...and gotten destroyed by each of them.

Kstate played ku, Auburn, Ostate, Texas (won), and we at least made them competitive.

Quit pumping the corncob sunshine...no place for that over here.

kstate wins tommorrow.

NU's losses are USC, UT, OSU, ku, MU, and A&M.

By an average score of 112 to 9.  Fast start equals domination.  Slow start equals  :ohno:

    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I disagree.  Right now, I rank Iowa State ahead of Nebraska.  They are clearly a better team right now because they have improved greatly over the past month.  Nebraska's defense is playing at Sun Belt level, all defensive rankings in the 100s.  Regardless of strength of schedule, they are downright lousy in this area and have quit overall.  In no way are they a good team.
