Fitz saying contract extension for ADTW!

Awesome!

HOW ARE YOU DOING WILDCATNATION?

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Judging by the quality of your sports right now, why are you happy about this?

I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

LA Gear > NIKE.  Maybe.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

LA Gear > NIKE. Maybe.
I'd like to see them in the LA Lights light up shoes when they run.  But if theyre looking for an ugly shoe, FILA might sponsor them.

Anyone that thinks Weiser is a better AD than Perkins is warped. The fact that Weiser is getting a new 10 year deal, with a job as a Professor when the deal is up is a good thing for KSU however (and him).

I think I'm gonna puke, I pretty much agree.  I especially agree with the part about Lew.

Remember, he hired Prince...unproven doesn't even come close to describing him.

If he's here that long, I'll be shocked.

Maybe now he can afford some PR classes and a new blazer.

LOL. Perkins has done jack S**T. He sucks.

Tim Weiser (KSU GOD) hired a future Hall of fame coach.

&@#% yeah.

I would hope that with the most top heavy, over paid administration in the Big 12 ... that being ku, might do something.

They better shine when they're on the carpet in August.

And damn ... StalkerBoy is just obsessed with KSU.

F**K yeah.

Change that to Eddie Fogler, and I think you're onto something.

Nation, I think Weiser is the A-hole to end all A-holes, however, a good CEO type person finds the right "bridge" when they're trying to land a big time guy/gal to run one of their operations.   That's commonplace man.

I think I have given plenty of credit where it's due when it comes to the hiring of Huggin's.

Now, I'll wait and see if our corvette (the one that's been in the shop for the last 2 years) is going to be pieced out for scrap metal, or be bright shiny and new under Weiser's guy...if it flops..no way he should be the AD in 10 years.

I hope it works out, but maybe I'm just a pessimist in seeing things as on shaky ground for KSU right now...

I want things to work out in football so KSU can grown into a real...big time Athletic Department where they have more than the minimum # of sports.

It's a real paradox right now.

Financially KSU athletics has never been on better ground.  Already Huggy has added another 2200 season ticket without coaching a game, because of Huggy KSU is going to get a much bigger NIKE deal.   KSU has a lucrative TV-Radio Deal, facility improvements are being done and more are on the way,  KSU athletics runs a significant budget surplus, KSU athletics is actually putting money away for "a rainy day" etc. etc. etc.

By the same token KSU athletics has taken a bit of a nose dive since 2003.  So far Weiser's first main hire hasn't done jacksquat, albeit I think he needs (not deserves) a couple of more years.  Prince DESERVES the benefit of the doubt until games are actually played on the field, and signing day actually get here.   Huggy is a PR machine, who will elevate KSU hoops ... will he elevate it to where some KSU folks think he will, I doubt it ... but I'll take the NCAA every year over crap on a shingle every time.

So right now everything off the field shows great promise, everything on the field ... we'll have to see I guess.

I guess the real positive here is how much stronger KSU athletics is financially and as an entity then it was even 10 years ago.
