Let's see how he did last weekend:

Quote
Last year Texas took their opening drive for a TD but QB McCoy was injured on the TD and missed the game and Kansas St got the upset. The Horns did not look good in their first 3 games but now they are close to full strength at WR and that will have their offense much more potent here.
PHIL’S FORECAST: #7 TEXAS 37 Kansas St 13

Well I suppose he only missed the margin of victory by 54, that's not bad.

He's still noted as being one of the best!

If he's right, Mangina is gone.  And you will now be able to find all you can eat specials again in Larrytown.

I would think Callahan might also be on his way out depending if they have a legitimate replacement.  I pray that Nebraska will have a plan a,b, and c this time.  The hiring of Cally was embarrassing and made the whole conference look inept.

What a difference a week makes, he had us with about 4 or 5 wins last week.  I am starting to think this guy might be the Lunardi of college football

Which tells you everything you need to know about the skill required to make big bucks doing that sort of thing.   :ohno:

He has ku going 3-5 in the big 12 which gives them an overall record of 7-5 and puts them into a bowl game.  I can't believe that fat bastard will be fired after that.  He will probably get a huge raise.

Erm... if he's right ku goes 7-5 and then goes to a bowl.  Then he slides by.

He was also way off on OU / CU

No, I think Mel Kiper is the Lundardi of college (and pro) football.  The both make an entire sorry living out of a single event that occurs once a year for about a week and is generally all guesswork, conjecture, and fracking bullcrap.  Lutardi is a bigger fraud because he doesn't actually predict anything he gets it leaked from a bunch of douche bags.  I don't think I could insult Phil Steele who actually knows a lot about football in general by relating him to a tard like Lunardi.

We have the conferences best punter in Tim Reyer....Rossman has been good on the FG's..our coverage unit is fairly good.....and our return unit is one of the best in the nation both punt and kick.

You're right I had CU by three touchdowns, not just a field goal.

Well, with that yes they would be 7-5 but, not 500 in conference play (no real improvement)
