Offensively, 272 yards passing and 153 rushing, 425 total! Those are solid numbers. I think we need to develop more of a rhythm in our rush game. JF was excellent most of the night. He had two picks. One was a poor decision throwing deep across the field. The other was an underthrown ball to Jordy. The talent on this unit is there to do quite well this year.
Defensively, if you take away the penalties, this was a shut out. I don't think we played with he same level of intensity we saw at Auburn. No mob talk this week.
Reyer was outstanding. His last punt pinned them inside the 5! Deon Murhphy looked great as a receiver and a return guy. Can't belive I am saying it, but we aren't going to miss Yamon!
Overall, we played subpar, but still dominated the game. It was never in doubt. Here's hoping we'll "click" next week and then rest up to be the horns in Texas!
