Running the ball has nothing to do with schemes or gimmicks.  It has little to do with the size of your personnel.  It has everything to do with execution, patience, and mental toughness.  A successful rushing performance is nothing more and nothing less than the imposition of your will on the opponent. 

Undermanned squads have run up some impressive numbers on the ground against superior opponents in the past.  We will not be undermanned tomorrow.  If we fail to dominate on the ground against SJSU, the blame is yours alone.  No pressure.

I have been wondering when people would start scrutinizing Franklin.

Watching the Indi colts line up in I formation in the redzone to get their TD was a thing of beauty. They have a pro style passing offense.  How come they can do it and we can't?

Lets not forget leaving Alessana on an island and the weak endzone offense. I question Ron Franklin and think he might be the weakest link.

One new thing per year.  Last year was the three WR bunch.  This year is "shotgun."  Next year we'll roll out I form.

Remember last season everyone was pissed and calling RP's talkshow about lack of toughness in the redzone and why we couldn't run. Prince pushed changes and we had to use a tightend as a fullback.

The closest thing we have to a "jumbo set" now is Josh Freeman, Bill Walker, and Ron Prince himself.

The thing you have to remember when talking about Franklin, is that they just didn't have a lot of capable personnel when he was QB at East Crappingdale State.  A lot of that carries over to his game planning.
