Running the ball has nothing to do with schemes or gimmicks. It has little to do with the size of your personnel. It has everything to do with execution, patience, and mental toughness. A successful rushing performance is nothing more and nothing less than the imposition of your will on the opponent.
Undermanned squads have run up some impressive numbers on the ground against superior opponents in the past. We will not be undermanned tomorrow. If we fail to dominate on the ground against SJSU, the blame is yours alone. No pressure.
