It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

We could put up some gaudy offensive numbers but still never score as many as we did under the Snyder offenses.  Back then we had so much of a vertical passing game that would make the quick strike from anywhere on the field.  Now we have all the little TE crosses and short routes not designed to do anything more than keep control of the clock.

What'sw wrong with controlling the clock??  We do that against AU and we're 2-0 right now.

10-13 yards isn't all that short in my book either.

You can't be racist and like basketball.
Compare to his 2004 offense:

Quote
And with the offensive line leading the way, Prince’s 2004 Virginia offense rolled up over 423 yards of total offense per game, including over 240 on the ground, once again led the ACC in fewest sacks allowed and finished the year atop the conference charts in both total offense and rushing offense.

It's almost comical that all this team needs is an o-line (really only 2 spots on the o-line) and there's really no reason it wouldn't be legitimately competing for the Big 12.

It's not a good o-line by any means, but it's the best we've had since 2003.

and yet another foot in mouth.  Like Phreak said...best OL we've had since '03.  Maybe that is not saying much but it's improving steadily.  You can stop whenever you want...the guy isn't a &@#%ing magician.  It takes time...Snyder basically threw some grenades into Vanier and walked out the door.

I actually wasn't meaning for it to be a shot at Prince.  I was actually meaning it to be a "we are fairly close to having a legitimately good team and that it's kind of funny that with all the issues we may have, we're pretty close".  It probably is the best line we've had since '03, but it's still a ways away from producing like the '03 did.  But if it makes you feel better, you could take the comment any way you wanted.

I took it as mostly positive.

I'm guessing you're glad.
