LB group in '08 is beginning to look ridiculous....

Patterson, Walker, Campbell, Childs, Hall....

not to mention Moore and Cheatham at corner and Abana at End.

we'll see.  If he goes to KSU he'll be part of the best LB crew and defense in the Big 12.

With all those two star recruits? You could put 20 guys out there and would have less talent on the field than Nebraska.

LOL at Nubb's talent on defense outside of Senior LB's and Suh.

LOL at Cosgrove as a DC.  He's freakin' terrible if you haven't figured it out yet.

Nebraska DL in 08 will be the best in the country hands down and we'll horsewhip your OL AGAIN when we come into Manhattan. Suh, Dixon (4 star), Steinkuhler, Turner, Potter, Allen, Sievers, Yancy (4 star), Crick, Jensen (4 star), Barfield, Moore, Townsend (4 star) and then add Simi kuli (5 star) and quite possibly Justin Thompson (5 star).

usc has backed of brown from what i hear.  same reason many teams have backed off, they don't like and refuse to deal with " street agents"

ofcourse, Ou has no problem dealing with the scum of the earth, brown will fit that program like a glove.  KSU loses nothing with losing brown

"Street agents" or no, Arthur Brown is going to make some program (preferably KSU) VERY happy.  LOL@NU fans claiming the moral high ground.  Give me a break

LOL at all this talk about KSU's defense being great.

Last year, KSU had the 70th ranked total defense.  70th!

On top of that, the DC that KSU fans fell in love with (even though he didn't have dreads and tattoos), bolted KSU for the same job he had the previous year because of Ron Scary Smart Prince and his ego.

And to make matters more laughable, you hire a special teams coach to be the defensive coordinator?

LOL at these facts...

http://www.big12sports.com/sports/m-footbl/stats/2006-2007/confonly.html

rush D yards per carry surrendered: NU 4.4  KSU 4.4
Total D yards per play surrendered: NU 5.5 KSU 5.5

Only the big LOL is NU w/ two first round draft choices on the DL and alleged best LB corps in the Big 12 and 3rd year w/ DC put up the same numbers and had a worse conference ranking in total D than a young D led by a first year DC.

it's not the moral high ground hatter it's just trying to win the right way.  you guys can try and lure recruits by getting their parents fancy jobs with big salaries, you can lure recruits by paying off the people that are their street agents with cash or giving them jobs but in the end it doesn't really help your program very much.

it must suck to know that prince isn't a good enough recruiter to go by the rules.

Bowman is the #1 ranked CB in the country. Green and Turner are likely draft picks. Then you have Ruud, McKeon, Octavien, Brandenburgh, and Suh....all likely to be drafted...

Versus Mildcat State with zero pro prospects.

I agree...that game was just a beatdown. It Rutgers hadn't pulled their straters so early, it could have gotten even uglier.

Kinda like if Callahan would have played to beat USC, rather than playing to not get beat too badly?

Facts are facts.

KSU's unbeatable defense ranked 70th in total defense last year.

KSU's unbeatable defense ranked 66th in scoring defense last year.

Definitely gives KSU fans reason to knock opposing defenses.  No doubt about that.

66th in scoring defense is FANTASTIC FOR KSU!

Maybe I'm missing something, but wasn't Nebraska #56 in total defense last year?  Nothing to brag about buddy.  You Nubb fans need to take remedial trash talking or something, cause you are really not any good at it.  Period.

56. Nebraska                       14 882 4646  5.27 32  331.86
70. Kansas St.                     13 857 4493  5.24 38  345.62
